(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has reviewed its poverty reduction efforts over the past 4 years. Delegates at the meeting in Hanoi on Friday initiated new measures to ensure more sustainable poverty reduction outcomes by multi-dimensional approaches engaging social welfare benefits. Deputy Minister Nguyen Trong Dam said vulnerable groups should have enhanced rights in development programs. He said: “Different regions must have suitable poverty reduction programs tailor made to address their needs. Policy gaps among ethnic groups must be filled to ensure sustainable poverty reduction.”
