(VOVworld)-The Vietnam Committee for Solidarity and Cooperation with Asia, Africa, and Latin America have wrapped up its sixth congress in Hanoi on Friday and elected 17 new members to its Executive Board. Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations  President Vu Xuan Hong praised the committee’s efforts to expand Vietnam’s role and bolster its prestige at regional and international people’s forums. He commended its contributions to international movements for progress, social equality, and sustainable development. Hong urged the committee to expand its network of partnerships by developing links across Asia, Africa, and Latin America while focusing on training its younger officials.
