(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Russia hosted a Tet get-together on Wednesday for the Vietnamese community there. Ambassador Pham Xuan Son praised the strenuous efforts made by overseas Vietnamese last year:“I appreciate the Vietnamese community Russia, including the Vietnamese Association, the Arts and Literature Association, the Science-Technology Association, the Association of Fellow Countrymen, the Garment and Textile Association and enterprises. We also congratulate the Vietnamese students for their hard work and efforts. Last year was an impressive year for Vietnamese students and youths”.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Sri Lanka organized a Lunar New Year festival. The Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea paid Tet visits to the Vietnamese community there. The Vietnamese living in South Africa, Morocco, and Algeria gathered for Tet celebrations.
