WB Country Director in Vietnam Victoria Kwakwa said the funding will help the Vietnamese government reduce poverty by giving children more chances to escape poverty sustainably. The new system will be piloted in 4 provinces: Ha Giang, Quang Nam, Tra Vinh, and Lam Dong. Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Trong Dam said the project will help Vietnam build an effective and transparent social system to ensure its citizens’ right to social protection services.
