(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Writers Association has awarded excellent literature, fine-art, and press articles in the annual campaign “Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”.

Poet Huu Thinh, the Association’s Chairman, said on Monday that the 3^rd campaign had set higher and boarder requirements than the previous ones. In addition to national prizes, the Central Steering Board of the campaign has allowed the localities and sectors to conduct primary evaluation and reward outstanding works at their levels’ requirements. The Vietnam Writers Association awarded Nguyen Trung Thu’s research on Thoughts of President Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam in developing new kinds of people, and Le Xuan Duc’s research which sought the origins of Ho Chi Minh’s poems. The Association also presented prizes to Hoang Quang Uyen for his work “Liberation” and Nguyen Quang’s collection of poems “79 springs of Uncle Ho”.
