WTO Ministerial Conference: Vietnam commits to multilateral trade
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam commits to the multilateral trading system and is ready to cooperate with other World Trade Organisation (WTO) members.

The statement was made by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Trần Quốc Khánh at 11th WTO Ministerial Conference in Argentina on Monday. Khanh said that the multilateral trading system has some shortcomings, which are unsuitable to the changing of the era. He urged the WTO to come up with solutions to overcome limitations and improve its performance to become an effective negotiating forum and also a respected agency in maintaining and ensuring fairness in world trade. Khanh said Vietnam is ready to cooperate with other members on all WTO issues.
