The World Wildlife Fund has announced that Vietnamese tra fish has been listed in the “Moving towards Certification” category in some European countries. According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), the new category is an upgrade for 2012 in the popular seafood guide. The new assessment from the WWF has contributed to building a more positive image of the product. VASEP statistics show that Vietnam earned over US$ 450 million from tra exports since the beginning of this year to October, up 3 percent over the same period in 2010.
