These photos have been selected from the album “General, Commander in Chief Vo Nguyen Giap” by the External Information Service (Ministry of Information and Communications), which was published on the 100th birth anniversary of the General.
Born by Kien Giang river (Le Thuy district, Quang Binh), Vo Nguyen Giap soon joined the revolution. In the photo, Vo Nguyen Giap and his parents, daughter Hong Anh (white shirt) and children in 1946.
