(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Information and Communications and Quang Ninh province have jointly held an exhibition on historical and legal evidence proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes.

The exhibition aimed to strengthen people’s unity and responsibility in national sovereignty defense. On display are objects and maps by various nations illustrating Vietnam’s exercising its sovereignty rights on the archipelagoes from feudal time. Minister of Information and Communications, Nguyen Bac Son, said: “The exhibition confirms Vietnam’s rightness view and unity by Vietnamese people at home and abroad in the protection of sea and islands. It provides information so that foreigners, including Chinese, to learn about the historic truth and Vietnam’s wish for peace and stability. It confirmed Vietnamese people’s determination in national defense.”
