Exhibition “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa belong to Vietnam – historical and legal evidence” opens
(VOVworld) - An exhibition on historical and legal evidence proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos opened in the mountainous district of Tien Phuoc in Quang Nam province. The exhibition features a collection of historical and legal documents that confirm Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, including transcribed versions of the original Chinese-Vietnamese and French documents published by Vietnamese feudal regimes, the French government in Indochina, and several western publications, from the 17th to the 20th century. On display are atlas and maps published by the Chinese government indicating that China had not managed Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. Objects featuring Vietnam’s exercise of its sovereign rights over the two archipelagos are also on display. The exhibition will run until this Friday.
