Hanoi receives donations to the “For Vietnam Sea and Islands” fund
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front says the “For Vietnamese Sea and Islands” fund received more than 1.1 million USD from 40 agencies in the first quarter of this year. Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Lan Huong praised the donors.

Over the years Hanoi’s Party Committee, administration, Fatherland Front, social organizations, and public have organized many activities to help soldiers and islanders in the Truong Sa district and other island areas. Since 2016, Hanoi has built 6 multifunction cultural houses worth 9 million USD and has donated food and other necessities to the soldiers and other residents of the Truong Sa island district and the DK1 Platform.
