(VOVWORLD) -The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's destroyers Izumo and Samidare docked at Cam Ranh International Port in the south central province of Khanh Hoa, starting their visit to Vietnam from Tuesday to Friday.

On board were officers and sailors led by Rear Admiral Nishiyama Takahiro.
The Commanding Group of the ships paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of Khanh Hoa People's Committee, Naval Region 4 Command, and the Naval Academy.
Vietnamese representatives were invited to visit the ship. Sport exchanges were held between naval soldiers of the two countries.
