Navy Region 4 strengthens communications on national sea and island
(VOVWORLD) - Last year, the High Command of Navy Region 4 and the Committees for Communications and Educations of Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa and Binh Phuoc provinces jointly conducted multiple communications campaigns on sea and islands for more than 60,000 people.

They also provided first-aid training for hundreds of fishermen on the Truong Sa islands and free medical checkups and treatment, medicine for nearly 2,500 fishermen, and rescued 20 vessels and 60 fishermen.
All communications were focused on major political events of the Party and State and Vietnam’s policies on sea and islands.
Rear Admiral Ngo Van Thuan, Political Commissar of the Navy Region 4, said: "With such cooperation, we have contributed to strengthening the people’s front at sea and on the islands, boosting socio-economic development, reducing poverty, and creating resources for developing the revolutionary, professional, elite, and modern Vietnam People’s Navy. This year and in the years to come, the Navy Region 4 and the 4 provinces will expand communications in a more practical, effective manner.'
