Vietnam Coast Guard extends contest “I love my homeland’s sea and islands“
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Coast Guard on Wednesday announced the organization of the nationwide contest "I love my homeland's sea and islands" in until 2030.

Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai, who is political commissar, said that after more than 10 years of organization (since 2013), the contest has carried profound educational significance and attracted a large number of students, teachers and people from all walks of life.
He said: “The contest is a project that lasts from now until 2030 and the following years and takes place nationwide, first of all 28 provinces and cities with 136 coastal districts and 318 districts of 28 coastal provinces and cities. So, the number of participating localities is huge. The contest and its related social security activities require a lot of social resources and close coordination of many organizations and forces.”
