(VOVworld) – 14 art performances praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and General Vo Nguyen Giap were featured on the 2^nd night of an exchange program called “The journey of art to Dien Bien Phu” held in the northern mountain province of Son La. 100 artists of the Army Art troupe and Son La art troupe enchanted audiences with immortal songs during the Dien Bien Phu campaign. The program included talks with eye witnesses of the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

Co-organized by the Vietnam Union of Arts and Literature Associations, the Vietnam Musicians Association, and local authorities, the 3-night program kicked off a series of art activities to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory on May 7^th. The last show will arrive in Dien Bien Phu province Wednesday, marking 60 years since Vietnamese troop fired the first gunshot in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

The construction of Muong Ang General Hospital in Muong Ang district, Dien Bien province, began Tuesday as part of the celebration with the support of Ho Chi Minh City.
