(VOVworld) - An international trade fair opened in the northwestern mountain province of Dien Bien on Wednesday.

It is one of a number of activities marking the upcoming 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory over French colonialism on May 7^th. Domestic and foreign businesses are showcasing a variety of agricultural, industrial and hand-made products in 400 booths.
The event is part of this year’s national program to promote the image and socio-economic potentials of Dien Bien. The fair helps enterprises promote trade, advertise their products and services, and find foreign partners from Laos, China, Thailand, and other ASEAN countries.
