(VOVworld)- Dien Bien provincial authorities have praised the World Bank’s effective support in improving local infrastructure. At a meeting with Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang and the World Bank in Dien Bien on Saturday, Dien Bien authorities highlighted the significance of WB-funded projects on rural energy, rural roads and poverty reduction. Addressing the meeting, Director of the World Bank in Vietnam, Victoria Kwakwa, said the World Bank would provide additional funding for Dien Bien to assist the province in projects on poverty reduction, rural energy, environment and climate change.
