(VOVworld) - The 12th National Radio Broadcasting Festival, entitled “Mutimedia-based modern radio broadcast”, will take place in Nha Trang City next Wednesday.

At a press conference in Hanoi on Thursday, Nguyen Lan Huong, the festival’s secretary general, said 265 entries from 60 radio and TV stations nationwide had been sent to the organizing board.

The works cover Vietnam’s comprehensive reform in politics, economy, culture, social affairs, the national security protection, policy on ethnic affairs, the directions for external relations, and national integration in the new period.

Held every two years, the national radio broadcasting festival aims to honor outstanding radio work and offers a venue for broadcasters to exchange their professional experiences and learn about the state-of-the-art in global media technology.
