Radio fosters connectivity between Vietnam, Indonesia
(VOVWORLD) - 69 years of Vietnam-Indonesia diplomatic ties topped the agenda of a workshop between the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Voice of Indonesia (VOI) in Hanoi on Sunday. Both sides expressed the hope that radio programs will further strengthen relations between the two countries.

VOVWORLD’s Director Pho Cam Hoa said VOV is scheduled to release an ebook next year, which will include stories about its Indonesian-language broadcast, in anticipation of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam-Indonesia diplomatic relations and VOV’s 80th founding anniversary.
VOI’s Director Soeleman Yusuf emphasized the longstanding cooperation between VOV and VOI.
Director Hoa noted that the Indonesian language program has served as a bridge linking Vietnam with Indonesian listeners worldwide.
Trade between Indonesia and Vietnam totaled 13.8 billion in 2023, according to the workshop. Other topics included achievements between the two countries in politics, culture, and society.
