Cambodia applauds VOV’s assistance in building transmitting stations
(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An has said the Cambodian government applauds efforts and contributions by VOV in implementing the Vietnamese government projects on building transmitting stations for Cambodia.
The Deputy PM made the statement at a reception for visiting VOV President Nguyen The Ky in Cambodia on Wednesday. She called on VOV to help Cambodia open training courses for radio staff.
Mr. Ky said Radio the Voice of Vietnam and the Cambodian National Radio have established cooperative ties for a long time. Since the establishment of the Cambodian National Radio in 1978, both stations have jointly built and developed technical facilities for the Cambodian radio practitioners.
Earlier the same day, VOV President Nguyen The Ky worked with President of the Cambodian National Radio Tan Yan to discuss ways to boost bilateral cooperation.
