(VOVworld) – Radio Voice of Vietnam and Army Corps 4 in the southern province of Binh Duong will strengthen military and defense communications on VOV programs. An agreement establishing a twin relationship between the 2 agencies was signed on Monday. Army Corps 4 will provide training courses on security and defense for VOV staff. In the mean time, VOV will provide vocational training for demobilized soldiers and train the corps’ communicators in press skills.

VOV Director General Nguyen Dang Tien spoke at the ceremony: “It’s an honor for VOV to be twinned with a number of military units. Defense Minister Phung Quang Thanh always pays great attention to VOV. Cooperative activities between VOV and Army Corps 4 have been enhanced for several years. We both will try to fulfill our tasks.

Army Corps 4 was established 40 years ago. It has obtained a range of achievements in the anti-US resistance war and national construction and defense.
