VOV receives Confederation of Thai Journalists
(VOVworld) Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Director General Nguyen Dang Tien received a delegation of the Confederation of Thai Journalists (CTJ) on February 7th at the National Radio Center in Hanoi. The delegation was led by CTJ President Chavarong Limpattamapanee.

Director General Nguyen Dang Tien told the guests about VOV, its efforts to improve transmission quality, and cooperation between central and local radio stations. He said: “VOV is the only agency that is running four types of media: radio, print, TV and online. Regarding the activities of VOV Journalists Association, every year we attend professional training courses and workshops organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association. We also learn about Vietnamese journalists’ rights and obligations. VOV Overseas Service broadcasts in 11 foreign languages and in Vietnamese for Overseas Vietnamese. Nearly a month ago, we launched a new website at www.vovworld.vn.” CTJ President Chavarong Limpattamapanee reiterated his willingness to see further cooperation between Radio the Voice of Vietnam and Thailand’s National Radio as well as between journalists from two countries. Both sides agreed to work harder to boost visits of experts, experience sharing and the development of broadcast technology.
