(VOVworld) – Voice of Vietnam Radio (VOV) hosted an art program in Hanoi on Thursday night to mark the 71st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, on September 2.

The program entitled "Independence Festival" recreated Vietnam's glorious history through documentaries, witnesses, dances, and songs.

Audience was able to talk with Professor Le Thi, a female member of the liberation army, who was tasked with raising the national flag on the National Day, September 2, 1945, and journalist Vinh Tra, a compiler of a book on the history of Voice of Vietnam Radio.
