(VOVworld) – A Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) delegation led by Vice President, Vu Hai, paid tribute to Thailand’s late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Thai Embassy in Hanoi in Tuesday.

Hai offered his condolences to the Thai people and wrote in the mourning book: “Our sincere sympathy to the passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, a respected and clear-sighted King of the Thai people. VOV leaders and reporters would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Queen, the royal family, the government, and people of Thailand for this huge loss”.

On the same day, Defense Minister Ngo Xuan Lich and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh paid tribute to the Thai King at his memorial service in Hanoi. Lich noted in the mourning book that the Vietnamese people and army always treasure the King’s great feelings towards Vietnam and his contributions to the two countries’ friendship and strategic partnership. He said Vietnam hopes Thailand will soon be relieved of their pain to build a more prosperous country.
Representatives from the French, US, and Swedish embassies in Hanoi also attended the ceremony.
The Thai Embassy will open the memorial service until October 31st at 26 Phan Boi Chau street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi.
