(VOVWORLD) - The Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024 is being celebrated across the capital city. This event features 100 architecture, design, fine arts, performance, cinema, advertising, handicrafts, and publishing activities and brings together 1,000 community-oriented creative works.

The Hanoi Children's Palace serves as a central hub for the festival, hosting 50 interactive activities designed for young participants. A highlight is the “Children's Corridor,” where children can play, view exhibits, learn, and interact.

The Tonkin Palace, now the Government Guest House, is an architectural work that evokes the capital’s heroic history. During the Festival, the Palace has opened its doors to the public for the first time, allowing visitors to explore this historic site within a specially designed architectural pavilion.
At the Vietnam National Museum of History, visitors will find the “Dragon and Snake in the Clouds” pavilion, an environment crafted from multiple art works.
An architecture student named Do Hai said: “This space makes me feel incredibly artistic, drawing me into the world of paintings and sculptures.”
The University of Natural Sciences contributes to the festival several interactive art installations that use modern technology to highlight the beauty of past architecture through a multidimensional, sensory exploration of Indochina’s architectural heritage.
The festival’s creative spirit extends to streets and craft villages in 30 districts, bringing the art to the public and inviting them to participate in Hanoi’s expansive art scene.
With its theme, "Creative intersection," the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024 inspires new ideas and encourages fresh initiatives and creative thinking. The festival connects traditional values with modern creative trends, promotes Hanoi as a center of cultural innovation, and bolsters its status as Vietnam’s creative hub.
