(VOVWORLD) - The 2023 Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival opens on Friday, at the pedestrian street on Tran Nhan Tong Street. The festival aims to stimulate tourism by promoting the image of Hanoi as an attractive and safe city.

There will be 80 booths displaying the products of Hanoi’s craft villages, local businesses, and travel agencies, hotels, and airlines.
Visitors will have an opportunity to create their own craft products, such as bamboo dragonflies and silk flowers.
An exhibition will showcase photos of Hanoi tourism, including the winning photos of the Hanoi Tourism Photo Contest.
The cuisine of Hanoi will be served by participating restaurants, including those with a Michelin star or on the Michelin selection list announced in June.
There will be a space promoting Hanoi’s traditional craft villages, such as Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo village, Chang Son fan village, Van Phuc silk village, Thach Xa dragonfly village, and Bat Trang pottery village.
There will also be a Photo Marathon Contest called "24h - Hanoi comes to love", which will capture beautiful moments during the festival, as well as performances of drum dance, which is one of the 10 folk dances of Thang Long-Hanoi. Other events will include a cyclo parade which will bring the festival's gifts to tourists throughout the neighborhoods and flashmob dance performances.
The festival, which will close on Sunday, is part of an effort to attract 22 million visitors to Hanoi this year.
