(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese people, particularly overseas Vietnamese businesspeople, have been trying to market Vietnamese goods to penetrate the global market. Over the past years. Overseas Vietnamese have made great contributions to introducing made-in-Vietnam products to people around the globe.

Nguyen Ngoc Luan, CEO of Meet More Coffee and an overseas Vietnamese living in Australia, said that he conceived a plan to introduce Meet More Coffee to Australia in 2014, and in 2017 it debuted. With an effective trademark promotion and marketing plan, he is experiencing outstanding success.

“We chose Vietnamese distributors who live and do business locally.  In the first year, we developed markets in Australia, the US, the Czech Republic, Russia, and South Korea. Now Meet More products are available in 10 countries and 80% of the distributors are Vietnamese. They are very successful. We have a Vietnamese distributor to cover all of Europe. It’s in the top 10 companies in Europe for sales," said Luan.

Tran Hai Linh, Chairman of the Vietnam-Korea Businessmen and Investment Association (VKBIA), said the Association has plans to promote Vietnamese products in South Korea in collaboration with overseas Vietnamese businesspeople, to bring Vietnamese products to local supermarkets.

“We’ve been living abroad for a long time. We always wish to link businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam with Korean businesses to export Vietnamese goods to the South Korean market. The most important thing is that we sell Vietnamese products to gain economic value for Vietnam and Vietnamese businesses,” said Linh.

The Association of Vietnamese Businesspeople in Poland has promoted Vietnamese products in Europe in response to the government's project “Mobilizing overseas Vietnamese to introduce and consume products, and develop distribution channels for Vietnamese goods abroad in the 2020-2024 period”.

Tran Trong Hung, Chairman of the Association, said: “With 30 years of experience doing business in Poland, I want to help Vietnamese businesses find partners and investment opportunities. We’ll provide them with market research information and seek partners.”

More than 5 million overseas Vietnamese around the globe can become effective distributors of Vietnamese products. Overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs and businesses are committed to bringing Vietnamese goods to the global market, with the hope of helping Vietnam prosper.
