(VOVWORLD) - There are a vast amount of festivals taking place across Vietnam this summer. Whether they are in the coastal city of Da Nang or in the mountainous northwestern region, they bring both Vietnamese and foreign tourists unforgettable experience.

The Da Nang International Firework Festival 2018 with the theme “Legend of bridges”, surprises and attracts visitors up to the very last day. Taking place from April 30 to June 30th with five nights displaying fireworks with the themes Love, Time, Happiness, Aspiration, and Friendship, the festival leaves a great impression on those who witness it.
Ironman 70.3, one of a series of long distance triathlon races drew more than 1,400 participants from 59 countries in May. The “Da Nang- Summer Destination 2018” program will be held in late June promising tourists new, and interesting experiences. Da Nang will also host the 1st International Performing Arts Festival in the first week of July involving 20 art troupes from around the world.
The 2-month Sapa Summer Festival is underway with a range of activities such as like singing performances, a culinary festival, and sports events. Dao and Mong ethnic minority people perform duet songs in Sa Pa love market of northern Vietnam.

Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO natural heritage site hosts the Ha Long Carnival 2018 featuring art performances by leading Vietnamese artists. Sound, light, and dances will dazzle at the Sun Carnival Ha Long Square.
Visiting the Central Highlands region, you should not miss the Gong Festival, one of Vietnam’s biggest festivals. Not only will it revive typical folk features of the region, but the Gong festival also shows its cultural beauty.
Finally, the Southern Fruit Festival in Ho Chi Minh City is one of the city’s attractions this summer. Hundreds of types of fruits from southern Vietnam will be displayed and offered together with various interesting shows such as a parade of giant fruits and a garden showcasing huge fruits from the country.
