(VOVWORLD) - While Vietnam has been integrating into the global economy, Vietnamese entrepreneurs have been paying attention to corporate culture.
Corporate culture is a combination of business ethics, ideas, ideology, goals, and methods instilled in workers who produce goods and services for society. Corporate culture is the core identity of a business.
Nguyen Quang Vinh, Secretary General of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: “Corporate culture is a weapon in competition. It’s a factor in keeping talented staff. It takes time to build a corporate culture and it plays an important role in promoting a company’s values and business strategy. Vietnamese businesses should share their stories of failure and success.”
Career associations have organized events to help their members develop a corporate culture.
Pham Duc Binh, CEO of BNC Technology Company, says: “We must to do our best in the smallest things. Business managers must develop a corporate culture that prescribe proper behaviour in their company.”
Some major Vietnamese companies have already built a strong corporate culture – FPT, Viettel, Vinamilk, Vietcombank, and Vingroup. The Prime Minister even issued a decision to observe November 10th as Vietnamese Corporate Culture Day.”
