"Angels of Italy" night in Vietnam

(VOVworld) – “Angels of Italy” was a program jointly organized by the Italian Embassy in Vietnam and the Italy-Vietnam Fashion Council to mark Italy’s 70th National Day.  In the evening of June 2nd, the Italian Cultural Center Casa Italia and Le Phung Hieu Street, where the center is located, became an Italian square in Hanoi. The audience enjoyed Italian and Vietnamese music accompanying a fashion show reflecting a harmonious combination of both countries' culture.

The background image of the Milan Cathedral turned Le Phung Hieu street into an Italian corner

Italian pianist Sandra Stojanovic and violinists Marica and Daniele played Vivaldi melodies

Vietnamese two-string fiddle artist Thuy Anh

Italian and Vietnamese artists harmoniously performed famous Italian musical pieces


Fashion collections by designers Xuan Hao, Quang Huy, and Minh Hanh are inspired by stamps featuring Italian personalities such as sculptor Michelangelo, physician Galilei, painter Raphael, and explorer Christopher Columbus, movie star Sophia Loren, and singer Luciano Pavarotti, Italian architectural works, and cultural heritages


A choir of Italian and Vietnamese children sang the “Little frog” song in Vietnamese, Italian, and English


In Casa Italia,, the Center of Italian Culture and Brands in Hanoi, guests were treated to traditional Italian food, designed products made in Vietnam, and photos of Italy

Piaggio Vietnam celebrated the 500,000th scooter to leave the production line at the Vinh Phuc factory in Vietnam in 2015
