Scenes from majestic National Day parade
(VOVworld) - A massive military parade with the participation of around 30,000 people was held in Hanoi’s Ba Dinh Square on September 2 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2). Opening the ceremony, a torch symbolizing the vitality of the people of Vietnam was brought from the Ho Chi Minh Museum to the historic Ba Dinh Square by outstanding athletes, and then lit throughout the celebration.Following the flag-raising ceremony, a 21-gun salute was fired from the Thang Long Royal Citadel to celebrate the national important anniversary.
