Every year, Thai Vi Temple Festival takes place on the 14th day of the 3rd lunar month, with numerous activities such as palanquin procession, sacrifice ceremony, human chess playing, wrestling contest, dragon dancing and boat rowing, etc.

On the morning of the 14th day of the 3rd lunar month, the procession, which comprises of 30 troupes coming from districts across Ninh Binh province, approaches Thai Vi temple.

Thai Vi Temple Festival includes the Procession and Sacrifice rituals. The procession is often led by a drum carried by two people, followed by people carrying 5 flags representing five elements of the universe.
