The June 3 - 9 festival has attracted the local kite clubs from Nam Dinh, Thua Thien-Hue provinces, and Ho Chi Minh City. This year's festival has also seen the presence of kite flyers from Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Kite flyers display as many as 120 eye-catching kites coming in different shapes, sizes, types, and colours.
The festival is typically held in Tu Tuong pagoda to honour the traditional kite making craft.
Visitors are eager to take a photo with giant kites in different shapes and colours.
Foreign kite associations introduce a range of unique features of kites to visitors.
Representatives of both local and foreign kite clubs pose for a group photo.
The festival provides a chance for children to explore the kite making craft and view the colourful kites as they fly high over the Hue sky.
