(VOVworld) – The 28th Diplomatic Conference closed in Hanoi on Friday. Participants defined tasks for the coming years, which include enhancing the foreign policy of independence and self-reliance. They also urged one another to maintain a peaceful and stable environment, boost international economic integration, and safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Priority will also be given to strengthening the links between political, economic and cultural diplomacy, Overseas Vietnamese affairs, and strategic consultations.
