80 million USD donated to COVID-19 fight in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Organizations and individuals at home and abroad have donated or pledged to donate more than 80 million USD since the campaign “All people join hands to fight COVID-19” was launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front 40 days ago.

Tran Thanh Man, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on Tuesday received 72,000 USD in cash and kind from the Thai Embassy in Vietnam, which was raised by the Thailand mission to Vietnam, the Thailand Entrepreneurs’ Club in the northern region, and the Thai business community in Vietnam.
Mr. Man said Thailand’s initial success in combating the COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to the joint effort by ASEAN members to recover production and trading in the region.
The same day, the Vietnam Fatherland Front received 43,000 USD from the SCG company and 4,300 USD from war veterans.
