The program is co‑organized by the Voice of Vietnam, the Party Central Committee’s Communication and Education Commission, the General Politics Department of the Vietnam People’s Army, and Khanh Hoa province.
The 90-minute program will feature three themes: “Sea Consciousness”, “Vietnam to Become Rich from the Sea”, and “Vietnam to Become Strong from the Sea”.
The head of the VOV1 News and Current Affairs Channel, Nguyen Vu Duy said the stage for the performance is delicately designed, combining the stage on the pier and on the vessel, creating an impressive 3D stage.
"The highlight of the stage and the art space are the vessels of fishermen and law enforcement forces who defend national seas and islands. These ships will make up a stage to create special effect and strong emotion to the audience," said Duy.
Rear Admiral Pham Van Luyen, Vice Chairman of Political Affairs of the Navy, said: "This is a very meaningful political education and communication program which raises the public awareness about the role of Vietnam’s seas and island in national development and defense."
The art program “Strong and Rich from the National Sea” will be broadcast live on radio channels VOV1, VOV2, and VOV3 and TV channels VTC1, VOVTV, National Defense TV, and provincial radio and TV channels.
The program is also available on the Internet at vov.vn, VTC News, VOV Live and other digital platforms of VOV and other media agencies.
