Busan International Film Fest to open on October 21
(VOVWORLD) - The 25th Busan International Film Fest (BIFF) will open on October 21 in South Korea's coastal city of Busan with the screening of Hong Kong (China)'s film “Septet: The Story of Hong Kong.”

Popular Vietnamese movie Chi Chi Em Em, known as Sister Sister in English, will be shown to viewers at festival. The movie, which features supermodel Thanh Hang alongside pop icon Chi Pu, is about female homosexuality.
Organizers said this year's BIFF will be downsized, meaning that most events with direct human participation will be canceled, such as opening ceremonies, closing ceremonies, red carpet events, and receptions. Conversations between the crew and fans or other meetings will be held online. The films will be screened in the five theaters of the Busan Cinema Center.
The number of participating films has decreased significantly from 300 to 192 films from 68 countries and regions.
