Ambassador Ton Sinh Thanh hailed the importance of the event in Vietnam’s history and appreciated the support of Sri Lanka’s leaders and people for the CPV and the Vietnamese people in their struggle for independence and socialism. The Ambassador expressed his belief that the traditional fine relationship between the two countries will be reinforced and promoted. Raja Collure, President of Sri Lanka’s Communist Party, said the CPV’s achievements in the past 83 years are significant for the Vietnamese nation and have a wide influence in the world.
