(VOVworld) -  Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with Laotian Minister of Home Affairs Xaysi Santivong during the Lao delegation’s working trip to Hanoi on Monday.
Mr. Phuc, who is Chairman of the Vietnam-Laos Cooperation Sub-Committee, reiterated the determination of both countries’ leaders in enhancing the Vietnam-Laos special relations. He urged the two countries’ Ministries of Home Affairs to effectively implement signed agreements.
The Lao Minister said Vietnam’s experience in public administration, downsizing the number of public employees, and organizing exams to select leaders were useful for Laos in improving its administrative system.
