Deputy PM receives Gen X Energy CEO
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung received on Friday Scott Kicker, CEO of the Gen X Energy Group, who is seeking cooperation opportunity to invest in a LNG project worth more than 6 billion USD.

Mr. Dung praised the Vietnam-US comprehensive cooperation bilaterally, regionally, and globally saying the US is one of Vietnam’s top partners. He said the two countries have signed an MOU on energy cooperation adding that Vietnam is reviewing its power structure toward diversifying power generation sources. In addition to renewable energy, Vietnam will also develop liquefied natural gas to replace other energy resources. He asked the Gen X Energy group to work closely with Vietnam to prepare for the project.
Mr. Scott praised the Vietnamese government’s solutions to balance the power structure toward prioritizing clean, environmentally friendly energy. He promised to cooperate with Vietnamese partners to accelerate project preparation.
