Deputy Prime Minister underlines the need to deal with complaints

(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc today/ on Friday attended a conference to review the 10 years since the Prime Minister issued a Decree on resolving complaints and accusations from farmers.

Mr. Phuc asked every locality to deal with outstanding long-term accusations, stressing the important role the Farmers Associations pay at every level. Mr. Phuc: "The Chairmen of People’s Committees in provinces and cities around the country should cooperate with the Government Inspectorate, the Ministry for Natural Resources and the Environment and others to identify the unresolved long-term complaints and accusations and deal with them as soon as possible. The Fatherland Front and Farmers Association need to play a bigger role in this, to take into consideration the legal aspects and circumstances to find proper solutions".

The Deputy Prime Minister also called for closer supervision of reclaimed agricultural land and more vocational training and employment, and support for resettlers.
