(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan  has urged Lam Dong province to focus on building new rural areas. At Saturday’s working session with leaders of Lam Dong province in Da Lat city on local socio-economic development, Nhan said: “With regards to new rural areas, Lam Dong needs to review how much investment has increased over the last 2 years. In addition, target programs should be incorporated with existing local programs. The province should collaborate with the culture, education, health and agriculture sectors to set specific targets of building new rural areas”.

The Deputy Prime Minister praised Lam Dong for its positive results in socio-economic management. But he called on the province to strengthen cooperation with institutes and schools in research and application of biological technologies in production, helping increase local agricultural production values.
