(VOVworld) – The National Assembly Standing Committee’s deputies on Tuesday discussed a draft law on the reception of citizens which will be submitted to the fifth session in May.

Deputies agreed on the need to issue such a law but said that the ways of holding receptions as regulated by the draft law and other current legal documents haven’t met practical requirements. They said the bill hasn’t clarified the responsibilities for receiving citizens, coordination among agencies and organizations, and the organizational model for the agency required to carry out the work at the central and provincial levels. NA deputies proposed that the compiling board make in-depth reports on the real situation of citizen reception, the experiences of other countries, and the law’s feasibility when it is promulgated to submit to the National Assembly for consideration.
