At the event held by GIZ Energy Support Program (GIZ ESP), Hanoi City and Vietnam Electricity Group, Tran Thi Hong Lan, Deputy Director of the Department of Technology Application and Development, Ministry of Science and Technology, said Earth Hour, an important annual event held in Vietnam since 2009, contributes to raising community awareness of energy saving, encourages the use of clean energy and environmental protection, changes household habits, optimizes production processes, scientific and technological advances, and provides solutions to reduce energy consumption and promote sustainability.

“Science, technology and innovation are not only a perspective on our environmental challenges, but also a gateway to solutions by harnessing the power of creativity.
