(VOVworld) - Experts' Working Group on Humanitarian Mine Action met in Hue city in the framework of the Asian Defense Ministers Meeting Plus. During the event, foreign counterparts were updated with landmine clearance activities in Vietnam.

Deputy Defense Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh was speaking in the event: “The ADMM+ meeting on humanitarian mine action will help Defense Ministers of member states to discuss and review future plans for cooperation. Following outcomes over the past 2 years, the conference is an opportunity to share experience in landmine and unexploded ordnances clearance. I expect the working group will make more initiatives to promote practical cooperation.”
