(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi wants to learn from New Zealand’s experience in building smart city, Vice President of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Doãn Toản said at a reception on Wednesday for New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam Wendy Matthews.

Mr. Toan called for New Zealand’s help in environmental protection, traffic management, air and water pollution, employment, and boosting economic growth.
Ambassador Matthews said New Zealand is ready to contribute to Hanoi’s development, including human resources. New Zealand wants to cooperate with Vietnam, particularly Hanoi, in building an e-government administration, she added.
