India, China resolve border disputes
(VOVWORLD) - China and India resolved their disputes over a large segment of the border on Saturday during their 21st round of border talks in Sichuan province, China. The meeting was co-chaired by China's Foreign Minister and State Councillor Wang Yi and India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

According to a press release by China’s Foreign Ministry, the two sides agreed to continue their representatives-level talks on the important consensus reached by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on properly resolving border issues and developing China-India relations, to reach a fair, reasonable, and mutually acceptable solutions as soon as possible. The two sides will jointly safeguard peace and tranquility in the border areas before a final settlement of the boundary issues, said the press release.
