70 students who come from mainland China, Hong Kong (China), Japan, Vietnam, and Indonesia will board different flights to arrive in Singapore at a similar time.

Upon arrival, they will be transferred directly from the airport to Howard Springs Quarantine Facility to begin 14 days of quarantine.

This is the first charter flight of international students that have been allowed into Australia since March 20. Two previous similar programs in Adelaide and Canberra were put on hold due to the second wave of the pandemic in June.
