Party leader underscores mass mobilization goal of addressing people’s legitimate needs

(VOVWORLD) -The highest goal of mass mobilization work in the new period is for the people, benefiting the people, addressing the legitimate needs and aspirations of the people, putting their legitimate interests first, promoting their right to mastery, and strengthening the close bond between the Party, State and the people, said Party leader To Lam.

General Secretary To Lam chaired a working session in Hanoi on Monday with the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission on task fulfillment since the beginning of the 13th National Party Congress and the key tasks from now until the 14th National Party Congress.
The Party chief praised the Commission’s achievement like building more than 400,000 mass mobilization models and 46 reports reflecting issues of people's concern on a monthly basis and nearly 200 thematic documents reflecting people's opinions.
He stressed on the need to agree on the special importance and requirement for strong innovation of mass mobilization work on par with the tasks in the new revolutionary period.
“The goal of mass mobilization work in the new period is to rally all the people as advised by President Ho Chi Minh, to promote the strength of the entire people under the leadership of the Party, and to create strength synthesized to achieve the Party's strategic goals," Party leader To Lam said.
