(VOVworld) – Hundreds of vessels in Khanh Hoa province have begun their offshore fishing voyages and will return after Tet.

Do Trung Hiep, deputy director of Khanh Hoa province’s Center for the Management and Exploitation of Fisheries Facilities, said the province has approximately 1,000 offshore fishing vessels and that 5 ports operated by the center are working round the clock to help local fishermen: “We are on duty all day long. Each voyage usually lasts 10-15 days and local fishermen are happy because the price of oil is low.”
